(This is a combined RP thread for Lilith Sakurai and Jeff Heorn. If you wish to join, ask me for permission first~ I will most likely agree and give you a place in the story :))
Lilith Sakurai

It was raining harshly outside. A soft fog was emerging from the streets, managing to cover most of Lilith's window. She was on her bed, wearing baggy red-plaid pajama pants and a white shirt. Her hair was messy and undone, but that was to be expected since it was near 8 o' clock. She lazily rested on her bed above her pale blue sheets. Her hands and eyes were glued onto her phone, which had taken up most of her day. She was scrolling back and forth her apps. One minute she was in her iTunes preparing her playlist so she could put to shuffle later, and the next she was on Kik, texting with her friend Minato.

--Chat Room--

LillyCykes: So he wasn't going to Java Night?

DreadMinato: Nah, he said he was too busy to preform. Or in other words he was too pussy to show up xD

LillyCykes: Hahah, that's so stupid! Then why'd he sign up in the first place?

DreadMinato: Something about Ryuga placing a bet on him. Guess he won xD

LillyCykes: So what's Bakura gonna do about it?

DreadMinato: Dunno, but whatever it is - he ain't commin' to school for a while

LillyCykes: Ya lose to Bakura and you'll never live to see the light of day xDDD

DreadMinato: Yup!

LillyCykes: Ugh, so bored! Why hasn't it stopped raining yet?!

DreadMinato: Forcast says that it'll be like that for a while, maybe the outdoors field trip to Konoha Hill will be
canceled tomorrow

LillyCykes: Ugh, I'm planning to not do my homework for tomorrow! If we do go, then I can do it tomorrow since we won't be in school!

DreadMinato: Ugh, Ikutsuki handed out like three assignments today, no way in hell am I doing all of em' tonight.

LillyCykes: Haha, lucky I don't have him 3rd period xD

DreadMinato: Lucky bastard xDD

LillyCykes: xDDD

--Chat Room--

Lilith grew a slight smile. She had known Minato for almost 3 years, and still they're the best of friends. She turned off her phone and took off her silver headphones. She then placed them to the side and decided that it was almost time to go to bed for the day. She was about to go turn off the lights, but she was suddenly interrupted by her phone vibrating violently. A shock came to her face.

"Shit..." she muttered softly. She went into her closet and took out three things. A black skirt, a sky-blue button up shirt, and a red ribbon. She quickly changed from her sleep clothes and dawned her regular outfit. After both her skirt and shirt were on, she tied up her red ribbon to her neck. She made sure to make it loose enough to where a single pull could get it off completely. Afterwards she quickly got her phone and checked Kik again.

--Chat Room--

DreadMinato: It's here... he's near Fukagame Shrine!

LillyCykes: Yeah... I sense him there

DreadMinato: I'll provide you back up as usual, don't be reckless!

LillyCykes: Got it, thanks Minato-kun!

--Chat Room--

She then turned off her lights and opened her room door. "Alright! I'm going to sleep Mom! Don't bother me!" she shouted across the hallway. She awaited a response from her mother, but to her surprise she was fast asleep in her bedroom. What a lucky break, she thought. She grabbed her umbrella and opened her window. The rain and wind were blowing harshly. Lilith then hopped out of her door and landed on the ground. She closed the window tight and started to head towards Fukagame Shrine. She passed through alleyways, ditches and parking lots. The prescience of the something was becoming stronger to Lilith. As she got close to the shrine, she put on a small headset that was in her shirt pocket.

"Alright Minato, I'm close" Lilith said towards the microphone of the headset. She then awaited silently for a response.

"Read you loud and clear Lilly! Alright, it seems he's on top of the donation box. Be very careful, this guy is no joke!" Minato responded. Lilith then slowly crawled up the stairs leading to the box. "His spiritual pressure isn't very high, but according to what I can see, he's pretty fast!" Minato relayed. Lilith remained silent as to not be detected by the large Hollow in front of her.

"Alright... here goes... HYA!" Lilith grabbed her ribbon and pulled it out with ease. What was once a red ribbon that she wore on her neck was now a shiny red katana that was segmented. The segmented pieces stretched towards the Hollow as she slammed down towards the ground. She assumed that would have been a direct frontal slash that would be in her favor, but when she took a moment to assess the situation, she noticed the Hollow was gone. "H..huh!?" Without notice, her hands were now in restraint from somethings grasp. "W...what.?!?" She yelled. The Hollow was right behind her, binding her hands to her back so she was unable to do anything.

"Well lookie here... that's not a very nice thing to be doing. Slashing towards someone you don't even know! How rude!" the Hollow said condescendingly. The Hollow was slender and thin. His hole was directly above the palm of his hand. He was approximately 6 feet tall and had a round face with two eye-shaped holes that expressed a prideful smile. The Hollow then tossed aside her katana and proceeded to throw Lilith towards the box. Her back hit the wooden box and before you know it, her vision was starting to get blurry.

"S..shit... no like this" She said getting up from the ground. Her hazy vision was then directed towards her katana, which was no less than 4 feet away from her. She ran towards it, but before she knew it, the Hollow had used Sonido to move in front of Lilith. In rapid succession he kicked Lilith back like an insect. Her strength was diminishing quickly.

"Lilly!" Minato yelled. A victim of watching his very friend be beat to death by a hollow while he stood in the safety of his room. It almost brought him down to tears seeing Lilith like that. "Get up Lilly! It's not over yet!" he said, his voice nearly cracking. Lilith got back up from another beat down from the Hollow.

"Damn... Y'know that it's even more rude to hit a girl like that right?" She said confidently. She ran back towards the katana on the ground. The Hollow recklessly tried to kick her back again, but Lilith managed to dodge it and grab her blade. Quickly, she made a whip motion with her segmented katana and managed to grab the leg of the Hollow. "Ha! Gotcha now!" She jumped and slammed down her whip powerfully towards the ground. A giant puff of rubble and smoke had began to form. Lilith assumed her combat stance and awaited for the Hollow's next move.

Jeff knew that his long, black coat and thin red gloves symbolized his detachment from the world. He was usually not in the business of making friends, people spoke too much about nothing. He himself could see things that other people couldn't, and was apparently able to "Manipulate the soul of an object" as an old mystic had once told him when he was seven.

The things he saw weren't pleasant things. Dead people crying, dead people in agony and dead people being eaten "alive" if you could call it that. He didn't know the names of those masked things eating the souls, but he damn sure new, that they weren't able to be reasoned with. He first encountered one at a fun fare when he was ten, having been drawn to the sound of singing. In a remote place behind one of the rides, he peeked from behind a wall and saw a woman singing with a chain hanging out of her chest. But behind her appeared a feint shadow, and the only thing he saw before the shadow jumped on the soul and ate her, were those menacing, red eyes. He had run like the wind to his parents crying inconsolably but unable to tell them why, because they wouldn't know.

That's how he felt about "friends", they wouldn't know. Jeff had only himself. Around when he was fourteen years old he found out, after having tested almost everything he owned, that the object he could manipulate the best, was a pair of red leather gloves, which he was able to make stone hard while still bendable. Jeff was naturally a hardy guy with great strength, so this seemed to compliment his traits very well. Later on his 18 year birthday, he was given a long, black coat he wore loosely, and the moment he saw that coat, he knew that the soul of it was similar to that of his gloves.

Today, two years later he had moved away from home, and was working to jobs. One as a removal man and one working at a warehouse, hauling things from the warehouse into large trucks going who knows where. He didn't really care, because he just liked the silent work and the looks of the experienced employees as he carried twice the weight of what they were able to. He didn't pride himself with his strength, but it was nice to have it and he liked exerting it once in a while.

This day had terrible written all over it. The wind was roaring and the rain was penetrating everywhere, and even though Jeff usually liked the night time better than the day time, because he was able to walk around unnoticed, this was the kind of night, he wished he stayed home. But earlier that day he had felt a strange presence, and he knew that it could only be one of those masked beasts on the prowl. He knew there was a shrine just not far from where he lived. Fukagame Shrine, it was called. Souls often gathered there, and if he wasn't mistaken, it seemed like the nasty presence came form there. Heavy rain or not, this coat had resisted worse, and he was going to go there and check it out.

The wind was tearing in the trees and the rain descended like large streams machine gun bullets towards the ground. Jeff suddenly felt something like a smack in the head, but he wasn't hit by anything. Could it be... That something was really going on at the shrine right now? Jeff started running and true enough, he saw one of the beasts at the shrine and... A teenage girl? She definitely wasn't a soul, and what was up with that red thing, she was holding. It almost resembled a sword? And it looked like she was capable with it!

Jeff quickly snuck up closer to the shrine and the girl seemed to have downed the hollow, Jeff got up behind it, as it stood up and turned its focus towards the girl again, angrily cursing her. "Hey beast!" Jeff shouted. "It's damn true, you shouldn't hit a girl, but I don't mind hitting the likes of you! Red Diamond Fists!" he shouted calling out his gloves special ability, and went in for a punch on the surprised hollow. The punch went right into its ugly chest and it flew several meters along the ground before slamming into a tree. "Damn, that's one fat masked beast, that one. So heavy!" Jeff remarked, as he didn't think he was holding back on that punch and had expected to send that hollow a lot further. The hollow seemed to get back up on it's feet quite quickly too, cursing Jeff and the girl.

"Hey, girl with the red hair! You seem to be able to handle yourself, what do you say that we combine our strength and take this ugly fellow out?"

Out of nowhere, Lilith heard an unknown voice. It echoed pretty loudly considering how loud the wind and rain poured on the shrine. Lilith, dumbfounded, flinched backwards and landed on her back. "W...who in the hell..?" she said as she quickly regained her balance and resumed her combat position. She looked at the Hollow, who was now a sizable distance away from her and her unknown partner. She gazed upon a man with thin red gloves, almost looked like boxing gloves to her. His coat was flowing madly in the wind. Who was this man? And how could he harm a hollow?!

"Lilith! Lilith come in!" She heard Minato scream through her headset. "I sense a high spiritual pressure nearby your general area! It's not the Hollow you're fighting!" Minato relayed. High spiritual pressure? Where? All she saw in her general facility was this man and Hollow. Then it hit her. It's that man. Whoever he was, he had a high spiritual pressure. Was he... a fullbringer? She quickly ran down her options. If he's not a fullbringer, he could be a quincy. But... he didn't use a bow and arrow, and regular shinigami use a zanpakuto. This narrowed it down to her conclusion.

"Hey Minato... could the spiritual pressure be from another fullbringer?" She replied. She awaited a response, but she grew impatient. She resumed her sights onto the Hollow that was getting back up.

"Another fullbringer?! It's not completely out of the ordinary to asume that but, are you sure he could be one?!" Minato replied. Lilith examined the man slightly further. She was deep in thought, but was taken aback from his voice echoing from afar.

"Hey, girl with the red hair! You seem to be able to handle yourself, what do you say that we combine our strength and take this ugly fellow out?" he said confidently. He was here to help? Whatever his reason to help was, she wasn't in a position to deny his help. Whether he's a fullbringer or not, he can hit Hollows. That's all she needs, someone who can help fight along side her in this very moment. Minato is a fullbringer too, but his fullbringer is strictly for support means. His heightened senses can locate any spiritual being .from a pretty sizable distance. With him not able to fight, it was just her doing all the fighting. But now that changes. Now she has someone to go off of. She can fight with this mysterious man.

"You wanna help me? Sure, why not? Just make sure you don't get in the way" She said jokingly. She rushed at the Hollow who was now back on his feet. "Hygahh!" she said as she jumped high up in the air and started making downwards whip motions. She hit him harshly for a good 3 hits. As she fell down, she aimed for the Hollow, making sure that she held her sword downwards to stab him on the way down. "And now, take this!" her sword pierced through the Hollow like a hot knife through butter. From that she was able to hold her sword upwards like a skewer and launch it straight up. She went after it, slashing upwards millions of times. Now it was his turn. "Alright! Smack this Hollow down!" She said as she wrapped the Hollow up with her segmented katana. She then threw the Hollow straight at the mysterious man. "Go for it!"

What was this? The girl seemed to be communicating with someone through the headset. He couldn't hear anything because of the wind and heavy rain, but she was clearly speaking with someone else. He would have to wait to find out who and why, right now he still had focus on the hollow, which didn't seem beaten yet. The girl had taken up fighting stance again and he could now see the segmented sword, she used as a weapon. Was she really a fullbringer like him, or something else?

In any case she took kindly to his help, and that whas enough for Jeff. "Don't get in the way" she said. "Don't be stupid..." he mumbled to himself, he had never met anyone better at fighting these beasts but himself. Only he'd always only fought them alone and that had sufficed. Jeff decided wait for an opening, and observed as she skillfully jumped at the hollow, and attacked it in an instant. "What..? She is using her sword as whip?" Jeff was surprised, but she handled that weapon so skilfully, that he might even have met his equal.

He was baffled at the creativity with which she used her odd segmented sqord-whip while she danced around the rain with the hollow as her unwilling dancing partner. Only this dance was a dance of death, and the outcome was pre destined. The rain still hit the ground hard, but her elegant moves seemed to counter both wind and rain to an extend that the weather could just as well be an extension of her abilities.

Then suddenly, the opening! She had managed to pierce the hollow, wrap her whip like katana around it and launch it towards Jeff. This was his opportunity, but for this to be final it required a bit more power than before. Jeff took a deep stance, and in an instant he jumped forward with a battle roar aiming his albow towards the hollows ugly mask. "Now you're mine, filth!" he yelled. "Panzer Jacket!" he exclaimed, as his jacket hardened and a faint, grey symbol of a wolf appread on the back of his black coat. His albow pierced the hollows mask and it cracked like ice being hit by a sledge hammer, and he heard the hollow scream in agony as its own weght collided with Jeff's albow in a devastating last blow, and the powerful forwards momentum it had, was instantly converted to a downwards motion, as Jeff smashed the hollow into the ground, cracking the stone porch with the loud sound of the stone floor being destroyed, that seemed to even silence the rain and wind for a moment... and the hollow for good.

Jeff got up again, watching is the hollow disintegrated and flew upwards in many tiny pieces. "Damn, that was one tough bastard! And the hollow too!" Jeff said jokingly as he looked at the girl and smiled broadly. "Anyway, who are you? That funny looking katana doesn't look half bad for slaying these beasts, and what's with the headset and all?" Jeff enquired. Though honestly still a bit sceptic about the idea of "friends", he felt curious to who this girl was, and even more curious if she actually turned out to be a fullbringer like himself.

The Hollow was defeated. Just like that - gone. Lilith sighed in relief and retracted her katana to it's original state. She then tied the ribbon back on the her neck loosely, as to not be caught off guard by something she wasn't aware of. She then faced her mysterious partner, who was a bit beat up from landing the final blow on the Hollow. He was pretty strong, if albeit a bit reckless in his technique. He looked pretty confident in his own fighting abilities, but to Lilith it lacked refine. Although that could be because she looks at a different criteria when judging fighting styles. While hers was unorthodox and elegant, his was crude yet effective. The way he slammed down on the Hollow and managed to kill it made Lilith a bit more comfortable in speaking with this man.

"My name? Just call me Lilith" She replied, making a small peace sign towards him. Something though took her of guard. He remarked on how strange her katana was, which made Lilith somewhat agitated. "Not only is it good for that - It works just as good on humans!" she said a bit angrily. After hearing her harsh words, she quickly retracted that statement by stepping backwards and apologizing. "Ehrm... sorry bout that... I shouldn't act like that in front of someone who helped me take down that monster" Lilith said. After that, the man was asking about her small headset. "What? You mean this? Oh! It's um... a communication headset... I use it to receive back-up from my friend... Speaking of which, I have this weird feeling that you and I aren't so different" Lilith said nicely.

If her conclusion was correct, she would obviously be referring to the fact that they're both fullbringers. But if she wasn't, then she would go on the path that they can both see spirits and defeat Hollows. Even so, if he wasn't a fullbringer - it would be in her best interest to come to terms with this man. He can defeat Hollows, that alone was of great interest to Lilith. "Now that I've told you my life story, I'd like to know who you are. And better yet, how you're able to harden those gloves and fight Hollows." she said with a blunt yet joking tone. The rain was almost gone now. It seemed that the storm had now passed. Her headset was now picking up Minato's voice once more.

"You've done it Lilly... it seems there are no more Hollows in the area. Although... I do still sense a powerful spiritual pressure." Minato relayed.

"Yeah... I think it's one of us Minato..." Lilith said in her headset. She then sat down on the damp floor, signaling for the man to sit down next to her and answer her questions. And hopefully, if at all possible, she wanted to know more about this man.

"A ribbon?" he said to himself. How was that able to become a sword like that? It looked a bit too magical for his liking and reminded him of the tricks that hollows sometimes liked to play. But then he thought that him hardening his gloves and coat was kind of equally wierd. "Lilith?" he said with surprise. "That's no name for a warrior. Are you serious?" he asked her and went on to comment that her sword was a bit strange. But her look alone told him that she was not happy and she told him off in a way that he couldn't misunderstand, and he felt as if he had to excuse himself. "I'm sorry, I'm not one for making friends, so I tend to say the wrong things." he said scratching his head and faking a big grin, which felt very uncomfortable for a gloomy guy like him.

But instead of her walking away, she actually started to apologize too, and Jeff felt as if he could ease up a bit now. And what was with that headset? "Communicating with your friend? Hmm... Interesting!" he said secretly not having a clue of what that was all about. He knew that teenage girls these days were a lot on the phone, but this was kind of ridiculous. And she was saying, that they were quite alike? Could it be... That she was a fullbringer too?

"I... I don't know... But since I was very little I could kind of control the soul of certain things, I don't know how to describe it any other way. And the gloves and jacket? Well, they just seemed to fit the best and I immediately felt comfortable with manipulating the soul of them." Jeff paused and looked at her seemingly still listening to him, which caught him a bit by surprise. Did she really pay genuine interest to what he had to say about himself and his past? Was what she did really the same as what he did... Just in another way?

"I've alwys be able to see these beasts, and the last three years, I've been hunting and fighting them. If you see one of them eating an innocent soul just once, you won't be able to forgive it ever again." Jeff said bitterly, and gave her a hard stare. He then realized it wasn't supposed to be a threat, and let go of his hard stare. "Anyway... What do you call these things? And why do you hunt them?" he asked hoping to gain more information about these beasts and deep down hoping to form a connection with someone who might be able to understand him.

Lilith calmly awaited a response. She wasn't one to be rude to a person who she had no connection to. She leniently let her hand fall off her ribbon. As she awaited a complete response, she got irritated about something that the man said. 'That's no name for a warrior!' That got her pissed off.

"Yeah..!? Well I don't need a damn name! All I need is my sword to tear your entire body apart!" she yelled ruthlessly. It was a unconscious reaction to his comment. She wasn't inherently mean, but life had made her like that. It took a few seconds for her to fully understand what she had said to the man. She flinched backwards and gasped. "Um! I'm so sorry! Just... geez.. don't make comments like that to someone you don't even know! If you had really pissed me of, I might've decapitated you where you stand" she said apologetically. She scratched her red crimson hair. "Um.. but anyway... you said you saw some innocent soul get devoured by a Hollow..? Damn... and I thought I've seen shit... " She said softly. She recomposed herself from earlier and proceeded to answer the man's questions.

"Well... as you may heard... those things are Hollows. Or at least... that's what THAT man called them. Ever since I was a little girl, I could see the spirits... and to make a long story short... there was this man... who claimed he was a doctor. But little did I know he was anything but. He was doing some research on those beings... trying to extract something from them... I don't know... All I know is that one damned night, one his little research subjects was released. It started eating everyone in my town... and..." Lilith said starting to choke up. She had told herself that this was who she was, but it was too hard to accept what happened next. "...it killed my parents." Lilith said soullessly. She cleaned up any tears that had emerged from her eyes, but it was too hard to conceal them. "And since then... I started using the soul of a little ribbon my mother gave to me as a child. And I used it as a sword... I've been hunting them since I was a little over 8... I'm planning to kill them all. This is my revenge for their very existence... Call me blind from revenge.... but this is what my life has amounted to. I have no one left. I had to leave my once peaceful town, to move to this shithole of a town... move in with a foster mother that doesn't care about me. The only person there is Minato... my best friend. And for the past 5 years he's been helping me defeat them." Lilith said, her voice cracking slightly.

"A..and there you go... my life story in a nutshell..." Lilith said wiping all the tears from her face. Afterwards she decided to sit down on a nearby bench. "Mhm... sorry about that... I get too emotional when I think about that... Mmhm" she said clearing her voice. "But anyway... I should get down to business" She said standing up and going towards the man. "I know this is a bit sudden, but I have no other choice. Forgive me for being so blunt but, would you like to team up with me and my friend, and hunt down these Hollows? I'm not asking for an answer right now, but could you at least consider that for a bit?" she said shyly. It was still weird for her to be talking to anyone other than Minato. She was self-conscious about her feelings being released like earlier, especially to a person she didn't know very well. "Oh... and I forgot to ask you for you name, sir?"

Jeff just stood there stunned. He couldn't believe what he just heard from her. No wonder she had a grudge against hollows, when her mother and father had been killed by one. And she said he had seen things? Compared to her, he hadn't seen s***. This was genuinely touching, and he had to turn around more than once to "blow his nose" because of "the damn rain giving him a cold". He always had a difficult time witnessing other people cry, and especially little girls. And this girl was breaking his heart, even though it was covered by that much muscle and his Panzer Jacket. How was this possible?

The next thing that hit him was the guilt. Yes, the f**** guilt. Jeff hadn't felt guilt like this since he saw the innocent soul being eaten by the hollow and he didn't help. But this time, the guilt was about being a damn sissy about his own past and isolating himself from other people, when this young girl so clearly shows him, that what he has experienced is nothing unique. And she asks him if he want to help her rooting these bastards called hollows out? He couldn't be more ready!

In reality much more was going on inside his head, than what could be seen. He was moved to tears and his soul was ignited with the fire of vengeance.... But on the outside, you would see only minor facial expressions to indicate, that he was actually moved by her speech. In that regard they seemed very much to be each others opposites, and he actually liked the idea of spending time with someone other than himself and especially one who could express the feelings he couldn't himself.

"If I want to join you? Sure." he said stoically. "Well... Definitely!" he added with a little more vigor and enthusiasm to it, as to underline his determination. "My name? It's Jeff Heorn." he said without investing much enthusiasm into that. He forgot names he had been told numerous times, and to be honest the name meant nothing to him. He had always been told, that he was forgetful, but he didn't know about that. Actually he thought that he'd rather not be remembered for his name himself. Instead he would feel a lot more content at just being "That big, gloomy guy with the powerful fists". At the very least that was how he'd like the hollow to remember him.

"But how do we go about it?" he asked calmly. "I usually find them by thinking like a hollow, and then i get the jump on them. But if you have an easier way, I'm all ears." he said thinking that she might have a more clever way of sniffing out hollows than his own, rather crude strategy.

Lilith was surprised to hear that Jeff was enthusiastic in joining forces with her and Minato. She gave a big smile before giving him a thumbs up.

"Jeff eh? And you say my name doesn't sound like a warrior" she said jokingly. She put her hand near her stomach to stop herself from laughing. "Ah... but anyway, I'm glad you're so co-operative. Yes there is an easier way. Like I said, my friend gives me back-up support using his powers. Much how you use those gloves and jacket of yours, and how I use my ribbon, his fullbring is a old map given to him by his father. All I know about it is that his dad used to go look for treasure, and that he left home. But not before mystifying Minato in his tales of adventures. And that's it. He uses it like a radar for hollows. It's actually pretty damn useful, that's how I managed to find this place. I'm not used to sensing hollows using their pressure, but he's a master at it." she said in a very educated tone. She gazed at Jeff once more. She carefully examined his entire body, head to toe. After her evaluation, she walked towards the park bench that was still slightly soggy from the rain.

"Ah I see... hmn..." she thought to herself. 'He's completely close ranged... that means that he'll perfectly compliment my fighting style... He'll go in for some hard strikes and then I'll swoop in and start using my whip as a ranged means of attack. But... that would be problematic for me in some instances... hmn... what to do...' She was taken out of her deep thoughts after having heard Minato's voice in her ear.

"Hey Lilly, when your done with that... um, wanna meet up somewhere? It's still about 11 at night, but we could go to that 24-7 restaurant just around the corner from school." Minato suggested.

"H...huh?" she said in surprise "Oh um, sorry about that Minato-kun, I was kinda in thought for a moment. Yeah why not? My mom is out cold, I doubt she'd notice I'm gone for long." She said slightly laughing. "Anyway, thanks for the help Minato-kun, I'll be there in 5 minutes." she said turning off the headset. She then went to go talk to Jeff, who was leaning up against a stone pillar near the entrance. "So um, since you decided that your gonna help us fight Hollows, you're officially part of our little team... Since you'll be working with us it only makes sense that you'd get to know both of us. Minato-kun suggested that we meet up at a restaurant near our school called 'Makoyana' you wanna come wit/" She said shyly, holding out her hand.

Officially a part of the team? Jeff thought that it was odd, that there actually was a hollow-slaying team right here in the very city he's been living in for so many years and he never noticed. Jeff frowned slightly "Well, do I get a medal or what?" and tried to conceal the fact that he himself was actually pretty shy and bad at these situations. But when Lilith extended her hand and revealed her own shyness, he couldn't resist and softened up and gave her his own hand and shook it with a firm two-handed handshake worthy of greeting any cage fighter. But then it dawned on him, that he was greeting a relatively frail looking teenage girl and quickly loosened his grip again.

"Ehhh..! I'm sorry, that might have been a bit too much of a... handshake..!" He said smiling nervously and scratching his head. "But sure, I'd like to meet this Minato-kun guy... And I'm happy being able to work with your group." Jeff said awkwardly, clearly not used to exercising his social muscle to this extend but cleared his throat and manned up again. "Well then, lead the way Lilith!" Jeff said sensing a bit of actual excitement in his own voice. Something he hadn't felt for a while. Maybe this could even lead to some kind of friendship. But that remained to be seen, right now he was just equally hoping for that restaurant to sell some decent meat, as that little skirmish at the shrine had left him somewhat starving.
