hasanalshaikh767, I think we already have all the badges at the POTM Voting thread, since Otome-san always posts them there.

Otome-san, you made a wonderful museum; I'm amazed by your effort! :wtf I love it!
I see... :p I totally forgot that they could be accessed that way.

Based on hasanalshaikh767's suggestion, I've started putting the winners' signature badges in the first post. So far I've done the ones for 2013, but I'll be working to add the others soon.

^^Thanks again for the tremendous effort Otome-san. All of the previous badges are great to look at. I still have my personal favorites though. :p

Otome-san, thank you for keeping this place alive. :D I've reread it now, and I especially like the section with badges, because I get to see those that winners no longer wear. It's great that Bleach has many characters, so you can make versatile sets of badges, hehe.

I'd love to hear your answers to these questions:

1. Do you think BA has done a good job of promoting POTM? If not, what do you think we need to work on?

2. Of all the badges, which 3-5 are your favorites? Why are these your favorites?

3. What do you like best about POTM?

4. Have you received any badges? Which ones? (If not, please mention whether or not you've been nominated.)

5. Has POTM influenced your posting habits? If so, how?

6. What else should be included in the FAQ section?

7. What else would you like to say about POTM?

Thanks for answering the questions! :D

It looks like I will be the first person to answer your questions:

1. Do you think BA has done a good job of promoting POTM? If not, what do you think we need to work on?

I think you did and do an excellent job with promoting POTM, Otome-san! I nominated this place and your work - and am very happy that you won first place! :)

I am always paying attention when the next contest is starting and am usually one of the first members to vote. But otherwise it is sometimes difficult to miss. I like the idea of the banner appearing, announcing that the contest is on. I think this should become a regular feature. Maybe it can include a count down as well, telling people how many days are left for leaving a vote.

2. Of all the badges, which 3-5 are your favorites? Why are these your favorites?

August 2013: Uryuu, August 2013: Ryuuken, April 2014: Ulquiorra, July 2014: Renji

As a Uryuu fan, I liked the two Ishida badges very much. They are both very appealing to me.

This Ulquiorra badge has a special meaning to me: I won it. Having won first place is something that means a lot to me and I will wear it in my sig as long as I can. I know that I will lose the privileges in a few weeks.

I love the Renji badge! It is gorgeous. I am a Renji fan and this badge is just perfect! :D

3. What do you like best about POTM?

That it promotes thoughtful postings and I enjoy the variety. Each time I am also looking forward to see the new badges and I admire them.

4. Have you received any badges? Which ones? (If not, please mention whether or not you've been nominated.)

I won third place in August 2013 (I missed the Ishida badges but got Chad). I won third place in November 2013 and got Kaien. I won second place and third place in February 2014 and got Sojun and Rikichi. I won second place in March 2014 and got Tatsuki. I won first and third place in April 2014 and got Ulquiorra and Szayel.

Since then I was nominated twice and won second place in February 2015 and got Nimaiya.

5. Has POTM influenced your posting habits? If so, how?

No, I don`t think so.

6. What else should be included in the FAQ section?

I have to think about that but right now nothing comes to mind.

7. What else would you like to say about POTM?

Thank you so much to everybody who contributes to it! I can see that it is a lot of work and that several dedicated people are needed to run it every month. I very much appreciate all the effort behind it!

1. Do you think BA has done a good job of promoting POTM? If not, what do you think we need to work on.

  • Yes, but I would like to see a rotation of winners. For example, if I was nominate last month and if I won either place; then I shouldn't be nominate again until a month (like wait 30 days before the next nomination would be valid), but that might decrease POTM postings.

  • I would like to see a POTW (Post of the week) done for the chapter review. Mainly, because chapters comes out once a week; and there are some great chapter reviews done by posters. I realize that this also might be extra work...but just a thought.

2. Of all the badges, which 3-5 are your favorites? Why are these your favorites?
  • Byakuya's
  • Ouetsu's
  • Renji'
  • Byakuya is my favorite-and I like the color schemes on the others. I like how a theme is presented in all the badges.

3. What do you like best about POTM?
  • I like to write about different things; and it's competitive, and it keeps my writing skills honed.

4. Have you received any badges? Which ones? (If not, please mention whether or not you've been nominated.
  • Well I barely won third place this time, it was Akon-though I have been nominated before.

5. Has POTM influenced your posting habits? If so, how?
  • Sometimes, yes as my goal is to win POTM. But sometimes I just like to write.

6. What else should be included in the FAQ section?
  • Can't think of anything at the moment.

7. What else would you like to say about POTM?
  • I think it's a wonderful incentive to engage posters to think outside the box; as well as seeing the difference of opinions and theories.

Questions are always fun right? I felt like answering them....

1. Do you think BA has done a good job of promoting POTM? If not, what do you think we need to work on?

From my lurker days to me now joining, yeah the promoting has been fine thus far.

2. Of all the badges, which 3-5 are your favorites? Why are these your favorites?

I like them all. Far too pretty to pick favorites!

3. What do you like best about POTM?

That many people are really good at writing so, I get to read some really nice posts or essays.

4. Have you received any badges? Which ones? (If not, please mention whether or not you've been nominated.)

No. I'm just a newbie! One day I might get one but until then, I'll just post whatever my thoughts cook up or it's sparked by something.

5. Has POTM influenced your posting habits? If so, how?

Not yet. xD I just like analyzing things especially lines of dialogue, something that may sound odd could actually have meaning in it so it's always fun to try and find meaning in those words.

6. What else should be included in the FAQ section?

Nothing that I can think of.

7. What else would you like to say about POTM?

That it encourages people that thinking long and hard about something could spark that one small bit of imagination and turn it into something amazing.

1. I saw it like even before clicking to register, I think it's quite visible.

2. 1) July 2013 had Kenpachi for 1st place, that is neat. Yachiru for 2nd Place is neat, too.
2) Uryu looks really epic in August 2013.
3) [STRIKE]Blue Kaien is best Kaien in November 2013.[/STRIKE]
Scratched because Isshin beats him in December 2013.
{You can hear me regret not being around in 2013.}
4) Hirako from May 2014, hell Yeah!
{ALSO, That picture of Kensei is really hot, where is it from?}
{And since we are about it, from where is that picture of the 1st POTM from August 2014?, the one of Kon dressed as a shinigami.}
5) Urahara marry-me October 2014.

Ok, I couldn't just list 5:

- I never liked Bambietta, but November 2014 with that smile is just THE BADGE for a winner.
- Again, never liked Barragan, but he looks really epic on the January 2015 badge.
- Shutara just looks so majestic in the February 2015 badge.

Finally, while I really love Nemu in the 2nd Place Badge of this month, I love the 3rd place badge because [STRIKE]it's mine[/STRIKE] Akon looks really epic and it makes me recalls of how much he has proven himself and the Research and Development Department during this arc.

4. I just got 3rd place.:woop:aha:lala:fangirl:yay

5. Not until I got nominated, at which point I went "Oh, f*** they can't nominate that post, it's not going to win!" So I started trying to make each post count in hopes of getting something better nominated. Actually, you caught me, 99% of my posting is aimed to win. {I have issues, ok?}

6. No, I think it's quite clear.

7. [STRIKE]I got 3rd place! I got 3rd place on my 1st try! And I wasn't even trying! :urahara[/STRIKE]

Joking aside, it is a great idea, I'm glad it exists.
