The image should be at least 400 * 400 pixels big. The image should be square. Uploading a square image in that size means that your avatar will show properly, without blurriness and without portions of the image being cut from view. Happy Holidays from BA!

How much should the mods' and admins' year-end bonuses be?

I'll wait until Christmas day to wish a Merry Christmas.

I love the holiday though. It's always been a huge deal in my family. I remember going to several different houses to celebrate, as my parents divorced when I was very young and we also visited my Grandparents every year (plus my girlfriend's house when I was a teen).

Christmas was grand in each and every one of those houses.

My Grandparents would always have some of the most amazing decorations I've ever seen. The Christmas tree was huge, and had the classic apple/red like ornaments (among others). We always had someone dressed as Santa to pass out the gifts, and we'd play White Elephant. They'd also take us to the Nutcracker every year. Some of my best memories ever. Ever since my Grandparents passed away, it has left a pretty big hole during the holidays. They were the primary facilitators of the holiday fun and cheer. We still have a wonderful time, but every time we get to this time of year I am reminded even more of just how much I miss them and everything they did for us.

My dad is pretty good about the holidays as well, and while it is certainly not the most important factor- he had a tendency to get me some of my most desired gifts. He'd also go the extra mile. If I wanted a Final Fantasy game, he would get me the two I wanted most and strategy guides for them. If I wanted a Wolverine action figure, he'd get me one of those as well as a Cyclops and Sabretooth one (knowing that they're two of some of my favorite X-Men characters as well).

My mother went the extra mile as well. I later on realized that, frankly, she and my Stepfather really did not make much money. Yet, we would wake up on Christmas day to game consoles and a plethora of other gifts. I honestly don't know how they managed to afford all of that. Clearly they put themselves in a financial bind just to make that one day a year special for us.

Nick mentioned Home Alone- that too was a pretty big tradition for us. My best friend and I would watch it (and Home Alone 2 in years applicable) every year. We'd watch it both at his house and at my house.

I'm at a stage in my life where I am no longer the one these holidays are primarily for. I'm the one facilitating and being Santa for my kids and family- and taking them to the Nutcracker. Every year I try to make it every bit as grand as my elders and loved ones have done for me, my siblings, my cousins, and my friends. It's actually very exciting.

I just love the family time, the gifts, the music, the mood, the weather (I love cold weather- I also love snow as well, but we don't get much of that here), and.....yes, the food! Including the candy.

That moment when you see a red blinking light in the sky, and you get to tell the kids it's Rudolph and Santa! That's what it's all about.

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our BA guys and gals.

A big Thank You to all Admin, mods, translators and contributors for all your hard work throughout the year, we'd be lost without you!

Well I thought of voting $1m for each of you but then decided it's best to share it equally amongst all of you, give you too much and you might think of retiring and then where would we be.

Right, I'm off to kidnap Byakuya and enjoy a cosy holiday together.
